Maintain safe social distancing in style aboard your own personal floating cabin boat. No need to go to shore to sleep or pay for a campground. Just find a small cove and drop anchor. Self contained by design to sleep two comfortably in any season. Custom built Shanty Boat is built on a 1997 Palm Beach Castmaster 200 pontoon boat. Deck is in great shape as it was kept indoors in winter by previous owner. 2018 Shorelander trailer tows great with my Toyota Tacoma.
Brand new 25HP Yamaha F25LC outboard motor with power start and power trim that cost nearly $8K (I have receipts). New fuel tank, fuel lines and controls. Professionally installed motor has less than 150 hours on it and it will push the boat up to 9 mph. Excellent fuel efficiency. Run all day long on 6 gallons of gas.
Includes a spare prop and $300 worth of engine oil, gear oil, gaskets, and other parts for scheduled motor maintenance. Cabin is 8' wide and approx. 10.5' long, leaving a sizable front deck for sunning and fishing and two small areas in the back. Back has hatch door and front has a storm door. Comes with alum. ladder for front to get in/out of water.
I just built this a few months ago when I thought I was going to be off work for 6 months so virtually everything is new. We took it down the ICW from Norfolk, VA to Elizabeth City, NC and back with no issues. Lived aboard for nearly a week. Rigid construction included over 100 metal "L" brackets and over 10lbs of screws for strength. Exterior is Coroplast and UV resistant Gorilla Tape. Very tough, lightweight and waterproof. 1.5" thick Ownings Corning structural foam insulation throughout adds to rigidity. 2" thick foam insulation in the ceiling under metal roof, wrapped in Tyvek. I keep it shrouded in shade cloth when not in use to keep sun off it and run A/C and dehumidifier to keep dry inside. New 6" thick foam mattress. 8000 BTU A/C unit recently added in front. LED lighting inside and exterior lights for sleeping on the water.
With a reasonable offer, I'll throw in a Uniden UHF marine radio, 4 new life jackets and two new anchors with lines. Sad to sell but wife gets sea sick. Clear titles for boat, trailer and motor. Call Chris at nine one eight, 207, fifty-nine fifty-nine. Text me for more pictures and panoramic video of interior.
