This was my mother's. The first picture is not mine; it's one I found online to show what she looks like without the wrappings. Serena is first in the Passport to Friendship handcrafted porcelain doll collection by Ashton Drake Galleries. Rare - "SERENA" 17" tall the first in the "Passport to Friendship Series" from Kenya - in her traditional dress, hair in braids, and her basket of vegetables from the market. Artist - Joan Ibarole, 1995. No original box but certificate and other paperwork included. I'm also listing Kali, the second in this collection. I have other dolls of hers as well, including Laura Ingalls Wilder family, listed and to be listed.
