I restore old computers as a hobby, and I want your old computers and parts to add to my collection. These machines will not be sold, but will be restored to like-new condition and proudly displayed and treasured.
I will gladly take non-functioning and severely damaged machines. Pre-2000 machines preferred, but I'm open to newer equipment in some edge cases. The older it is, the better.
I will also take computer hardware and parts, regardless of functionality.
Examples of parts I am looking for:
PCI and ISA Ethernet Cards
PCI, ISA, VLB, and AGP Video Cards
Apple II Super Serial Controllers and other Apple II expansion cards
All ISA Cards, 8-bit or 16-bit.
XT and Hybrid-AT/XT Keyboards
AT/XT Power Supplies
74xx-Series Logic IC's
LM7xxx-Series Linear Voltage Regulators (and Switching replacements for them)
Floppy (Especially 5.25" DSHD) and Floptical Drives
EEPROMS and EPROMS
Nice CRT Monitors (regardless of age or functionality)
Passives (Resistors, Capacitors, Pots, etc.)
Hex-Head Philips Case Screws
Long-stem SMK Keyboard Switches.
And many others...
I am also in desperate need of floppy disks of all formats and sizes. All of my disks are quickly becoming non-functional due to age. (Sidenote: If you have any precious video, audio, or data on VHS, cassettes, floppies, etc. Back them up digitally as soon as possible. All pre-2010 magnetic media is approaching the end of it's life, and they are getting data rot at an alarming rate. If you don't back them up soon, your memories may literally fade from existence.)
Audio equipment is also welcomed, especially older mid/high-end equipment and magnetic tape.
Thanks for reading my post, and definitely send me a message if you have anything that you'd like to give a new lease on life.
